CDA Signs MOU with Mico to Counsel Children, Staff

CEO of Child Development Agency Mrs. Rosalee Gage-Grey (centre) Executive Director of the Mico University College Youth Counseling, Resource Development Centre Dr. Claudine Hyatt (Mrs. Gage-Grey’s immediate right) sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the Centre to assist the CDA with providing counselling services to children. The signing took place at the CDA Head Office on Duke Street.  Other members of the CDA Executive Management Team participated in the signing. The Child Development Agency (CDA) has signed an agreement with the Mico University College Youth Counselling, Research and Development Centre (MYCRDC) for that institution to provide cost-free counselling intervention to children in State care and those who access the CDA’s services through its intake desk and other avenues. CDA Helping Parents to Fulfill their Responsibilities

A group of parents from the parish of Hanover who participated in the  Child Development Agency's (CDA) Parenting Skills Training Workshop show off their certificates of participation after a recent graduation ceremony, held on Monday (April 30) at the Calvary Baptist Church Hall, in Montego Bay, St. James. A total of 87 parents participated in the twenty (20) hour workshop, geared at improving their parenting skills.

Eighty-seven (87) parents from the parishes of Hanover, Westmoreland, Trelawny and St. James recently benefitted from a twenty 20-hour parenting skills training workshop organised by the Child Development Agency.
